eVolunteers The mission of e-Volunteers is to restore the community using
the Internet. We fulfill this in three ways:

   • Raise awareness of the social capital deficit among technologists
   • Encourage community participation by technologists
   • Implement Internet solutions for non-profits that build social capital

Democracy. Neighborhood gatherings. Civic activities. All cornerstones of American society. Yet the past three decades have seen a decline in all forms of civic engagement and in the human connections that build strong communities.

e-Volunteers leverages the power of the Internet to reconnect people and revitalize participation — rebuilding the “social capital” that is the foundation of dynamic communities. We unite teams of talented technology volunteers with non-profit organizations, facilitating Internet solutions that provide an immediate, effective forum for community engagement. With a presence in many major cities, including New York, Boston, and San Francisco, e-Volunteers has already begun helping to revive the American community.

"Feedback from parents, staff, and the Board of Directors has been very positive. They now have a very efficient way of communicating information about the school to family members, prospective benefactors, politicians, and government agencies."

Ed McCormack,
Superintendent of St. Francis de Sales
School for the Deaf

All Golfs Kids now has a web site that highlights the community successes the organization has achieved. Visitors to the site immediately understand the concept behind All Golfs Kids without reading a word of text, inviting users to learn more about the organization.

"The Elizabeth Peabody House had realized the need for a web site but had neither the resources nor the expertise to implement the project. The phone rang at 7:30 AM and it was e-Volunteers offering to design our web site for us!"
